Psalms 101
The Psalmist’s Profession of Uprightness.
A Psalm of David.
1I will 1sing of mercy and 2justice; To You, Lord, I will sing praises.2I will 3carefully attend to the 4blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the 56integrity of my heart.3I will set no 7worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the 8work of those who 9fall away; It shall not cling to me.4A 10perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil.5Whoever secretly 11slanders his neighbor, him I will 12destroy; I will not endure one who has a 13haughty look and an arrogant heart.
6My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a 1415blameless way is one who will serve me.7One who 16practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; One who speaks lies 17shall not 18maintain his position before me.819Every morning I will 2021destroy all the wicked of the land, So as to 22eliminate from the 23city of the Lord all those who do injustice.
