Read Psalms 101 in the BiblePsalms 101:2
in my house: This commitment to integrity might refer to private life at home. Some interpreters see my house as the king’s palace. The commitment would then refer to the policies of his administration.
Living with integrity means choosing a wise lifestyle.
Psalms 101:4-5
The psalmist hates what the Lord hates (Proverbs 6:16–19; see Psalms 5:5; 11:4–5).
Perverse ideas come from corrupt human hearts (compare Psalm 18:26).
Psalms 101:6
The psalmist surrounds himself with people who are also committed to integrity (Psalm 101:2).
Psalms 101:7-8
The psalmist promises to remove all evil from his house and the city of the Lord, which represents the entire kingdom.
