Psalms 89:6-19

6For 1who in the skies is comparable to the Lord? Who among the 23sons of the mighty is like the Lord,7A God 4greatly feared in the council of the 5holy ones, And 6awesome above all those who are around Him?8O Lord God of hosts, 7who is like You, O mighty 8Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You.9You rule the swelling of the sea; When its waves rise, You 9still them.10You Yourself crushed 1011Rahab like one who is slain; You 12scattered Your enemies with 13Your mighty arm.

11The 14heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The 15world and 16all it contains, You have founded them.12The 17north and the south, You have created them; 18Tabor and 19Hermon 20shout for joy at Your name.13You have 21a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your 22right hand is exalted.1423Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; 24Lovingkindness and 25truth go before You.15How blessed are the people who know the 2627joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the 28light of Your countenance.16In 29Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted.17For You are the glory of 30their strength, And by Your favor 31our 32horn is exalted.18For our 33shield belongs to the Lord, 34And our king to the 35Holy One of Israel.

1936Once You spoke in vision to Your godly 37ones, And said, “I have 38given help to one who is 39mighty; I have exalted one 40chosen from the people.
