Psalms 89:36-40
36His 12descendants shall endure forever And his 3throne 4as the sun before Me.37It shall be established forever 5like the moon, And the 6witness in the sky is faithful.” 7Selah.
38But You have 8cast off and 9rejected, You have been full of wrath 10against Your 11anointed.39You have 12spurned the covenant of Your servant; You have 13profaned 14his crown 15in the dust.40You have 16broken down all his walls; You have 17brought his strongholds to ruin.
