Psalms 78:25-38

25Man did eat the bread of 1angels; He sent them 2food 34in abundance.26He 5caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His 6power He directed the south wind.27When He rained 7meat upon them like the dust, Even 8winged fowl like the sand of the seas,28Then He let them fall in the midst of 9their camp, Round about their dwellings.29So they 10ate and were well filled, And their desire He gave to them.3011Before they had satisfied their desire, 12While their food was in their mouths,31The 13anger of God rose against them And killed 14some of their 15stoutest ones, And 16subdued the choice men of Israel.32In spite of all this they 17still sinned And 18did not believe in His wonderful works.33So He brought 19their days to an end in 20futility And their years in sudden terror.

34When He killed them, then they 21sought Him, And returned and searched 22diligently for God;35And they remembered that God was their 23rock, And the Most High God their 24Redeemer.36But they 25deceived Him with their mouth And 26lied to Him with their tongue.37For their heart was not 27steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.38But He, being 28compassionate, 2930forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them; And often He 3132restrained His anger And did not arouse all His wrath.
