Psalms 74:3-7
31Turn Your footsteps toward the 2perpetual ruins; The enemy 3has damaged everything within the sanctuary.4Your adversaries have 4roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their 5own 6standards 7for signs.5It seems as if one had lifted up His 89axe in a 10forest of trees.6And now 11all its 12carved work They smash with hatchet and 13hammers.7They have 1415burned Your sanctuary 16to the ground; They have 17defiled the dwelling place of Your name.
