Psalms 74:2-7
2Remember Your congregation, which You have 1purchased of old, Which You have 2redeemed to be the 3tribe of Your inheritance; And this Mount 4Zion, where You have dwelt.35Turn Your footsteps toward the 6perpetual ruins; The enemy 7has damaged everything within the sanctuary.4Your adversaries have 8roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their 9own 10standards 11for signs.5It seems as if one had lifted up His 1213axe in a 14forest of trees.6And now 15all its 16carved work They smash with hatchet and 17hammers.7They have 1819burned Your sanctuary 20to the ground; They have 21defiled the dwelling place of Your name.
