Psalms 57:1-11
1123Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul 4takes refuge in You; And in the 5shadow of Your wings I will take refuge Until destruction 6passes by.2I will cry to God Most High, To God who 7accomplishes all things for me.3He will 8send from heaven and save me; He reproaches him who 910tramples upon me. 11Selah. God will send forth His 12lovingkindness and His 13truth.
4My soul is among 14lions; I must lie among those who breathe forth fire, Even the sons of men, whose 15teeth are spears and arrows And their 16tongue a sharp sword.517Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth.6They have 18prepared a 19net for my steps; My soul is 20bowed down; They 21dug a pit before me; They themselves have 22fallen into the midst of it. Selah.
723My 24heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises!8Awake, 25my glory! Awake, 26harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.927I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the 28nations.10For Your 29lovingkindness is great to the heavens And Your 30truth to the clouds.1131Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
