Psalms 39:3-6

3My 1heart was hot within me, While I was musing the fire burned; Then I spoke with my tongue:4“Lord, make me to know 2my end And what is the extent of my days; Let me know how 3transient I am.5Behold, You have made 4my days as handbreadths, And my 5lifetime as nothing in Your sight; Surely every man 6at his best is 7a mere 8breath. 9Selah.6Surely every man 10walks about as 11a phantom; Surely they make an 12uproar for nothing; He 13amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.
