Psalms 37:1-9

1 1Do not fret because of evildoers, Be not 2envious toward wrongdoers.2For they will 3wither quickly like the grass And 4fade like the green herb.3 5Trust in the Lord and do good; 6Dwell in the land and 7 8cultivate faithfulness.4 9Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will 10give you the desires of your heart.5 11Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.6He will bring forth 12your righteousness as the light And your judgment 13as the noonday.

7 14Rest in the Lord and 15wait 16patiently for Him; 17Do not fret because of him who 18prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.8Cease from anger and 19forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.9For 20evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the Lord, they will 21inherit the land.
