Psalms 17:6-12
6I have 1called upon You, for You will answer me, O God; 2Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech.73Wondrously show Your lovingkindness, O 4Savior of those who take refuge 5at Your right hand From those who rise up against them.8Keep me as 6the 7apple of the eye; Hide me 8in the shadow of Your wings9From the 9wicked who despoil me, My 10deadly enemies who surround me.10They have 11closed their 12unfeeling heart, With their mouth they 13speak proudly.11They have now 14surrounded us in our steps; They set their eyes 15to cast us down to the ground.12He is 16like a lion that is eager to tear, And as a young lion 17lurking in hiding places.
