Psalms 131
Childlike Trust in the Lord.
A Song of Ascents, of David.
1Lord, my heart is not 1proud, nor my eyes 2arrogant; Nor do I 3involve myself in 4great matters, Or in things 5too 6difficult for me.2I have certainly 7soothed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned 8child resting 9against his mother, My soul 10within me is like a weaned child.3Israel, 11wait for the Lord 12From this time on and forever.
