Psalms 124:1-5
1“1Had it not been the Lord who was on our side,” 2Let Israel now say,2“Had it not been the Lord who was on our side When men rose up against us,3Then they would have 3swallowed us alive, When their 4anger was kindled against us;4Then the 5waters would have engulfed us, The stream would have 6swept over our soul;5Then the 7raging waters would have 8swept over our soul.”
