Psalms 118:1-8
11Give thanks to the Lord, for 2He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.2Oh let 3Israel say, “His lovingkindness is everlasting.”3Oh let the 4house of Aaron say, “His lovingkindness is everlasting.”4Oh let those 5who 6fear the Lord say, “His lovingkindness is everlasting.”
5From my 7distress I called upon 8the Lord; 9The Lord answered me and 10set me in a large place.6The Lord is 11for me; I will 12not fear; 13What can man do to me?7The Lord is for me 14among those who help me; Therefore I will 15look with satisfaction on those who hate me.8It is 16better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in man.
