Psalms 109:21-31
21But You, O 1God, the Lord, deal kindly with me 2for Your name’s sake; Because 3Your lovingkindness is good, deliver me;22For 4I am afflicted and needy, And 5my heart is 6wounded within me.23I am passing 7like a shadow when it lengthens; I am shaken off 8like the locust.24My 9knees 10are weak from 11fasting, And my flesh has grown lean, without fatness.25I also have become a 12reproach to them; When they see me, they 13wag their head.
2614Help me, O Lord my God; Save me according to Your lovingkindness.2715And let them 16know that this is Your hand; You, Lord, have done it.2817Let them curse, but You bless; When they arise, they shall be ashamed, But Your 18servant shall be glad.2919Let 20my accusers be clothed with dishonor, And 21let them 22cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.
30With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; And in the midst of many 23I will praise Him.31For He stands 24at the right hand of the needy, To save him from those who 25judge his soul.
