Psalms 106:34-41

34They 1did not destroy the peoples, As 2the Lord commanded them,35But 3they mingled with the nations And learned their 4practices,36And 5served their idols, 6Which became a snare to them.37They even 7sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the 8demons,38And shed 9innocent blood, The blood of their 10sons and their daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was 11polluted with the blood.39Thus they became 12unclean in their 13practices, And 14played the harlot in their deeds.

40Therefore the 15anger of the Lord was kindled against His people And He 16abhorred His 1718inheritance.41Then 19He gave them into the hand of the 20nations, And those who hated them ruled over them.
