Psalms 102:12-28
12But You, O Lord, 12abide forever, And Your 34name to all generations.13You will 5arise and have 6compassion on Zion; For 7it is time to be gracious to her, For the 8appointed time has come.14Surely Your servants 9find pleasure in her stones And feel pity for her dust.1510So the 1112nations will fear the name of the Lord And 13all the kings of the earth Your glory.16For the Lord has 14built up Zion; He has 15appeared in His glory.17He has 16regarded the prayer of the 17destitute And has not despised their prayer.
1818This will be 19written for the 20generation to come, 21That 22a people yet to be created 23may praise 24the Lord.19For He 25looked down from His holy height; 26From heaven the Lord gazed 27upon the earth,20To hear the 28groaning of the prisoner, To 29set free 30those who were doomed to death,21That men may 31tell of the name of the Lord in Zion And His praise in Jerusalem,22When 32the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.
23He has weakened my strength in the way; He has 33shortened my days.24I say, “O my God, 34do not take me away in the 35midst of my days, Your 36years are throughout all generations.25Of old You 37founded the earth, And the 38heavens are the work of Your hands.2639Even they will 40perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed.27But You are 4142the same, And Your years will not come to an end.28The 43children of Your servants will continue, And their 4445descendants will be established before You.”
