Psalms 10:5-11

5His ways 1succeed at all times; Yet Your judgments are on high, 2out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he snorts at them.6He says to himself, “3I will not be moved; 4Throughout the generations 5I will not be in adversity.”7His 6mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and 7oppression; 8Under his tongue is harm and injustice.8He sits in the 9lurking places of the villages; He 10kills the innocent in the secret places; His eyes 11surreptitiously watch for the 1213unfortunate.9He lurks in secret like 14a lion in his 15lair; He 16lurks to catch 17the needy; He catches the needy when he pulls him into his 18net.10Then he crushes the needy one, who cowers; And 19unfortunate people fall by his mighty power.11He 20says to himself, “God has forgotten; He has hidden His face; He will never see it.”
