Psalms 98

A Call to Praise the Lord for His Righteousness.

A Psalm.

1Sing a 1new song to the Lord, For He has done 2wonderful things, His 3right hand and His 4holy arm have 5gained the victory for Him.2 6The Lord has made His salvation known; He has 7revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.3He has 8remembered His graciousness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; 9All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 10Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; 11Be cheerful and sing for joy and sing praises.5Sing praises to the Lord with the 12lyre, With the lyre and the 13 14sound of melody.6With 15trumpets and the sound of the horn 16Shout joyfully before 17the King, the Lord.

7May the 18sea roar and 19all it contains, The 20world and those who dwell in it.8May the 21rivers clap their hands, May the 22mountains sing together for joy9Before the Lord, for He is coming to 23judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And 24the peoples with fairness.
