Psalms 26
Protestation of Integrity and Prayer for Protection.
A Psalm of David.
112Vindicate me, Lord, for I have 3walked in my integrity, And I have 4trusted in the Lord 56without wavering.27Examine me, Lord, and put me to the test; 8Refine my 9mind and my heart.3For Your 1011goodness is before my eyes, And I have 12walked in Your truth.4I do not 13sit with 14deceitful people, Nor will I go with 1516pretenders.5I 17hate the assembly of evildoers, And I will not sit with the wicked.6I will 18wash my hands in innocence, And I will go around 19Your altar, Lord,7That I may proclaim with the voice of 20thanksgiving And declare all Your 21wonders.
8Lord, I 22love the dwelling of Your house, And the place 23where Your 24glory remains.925Do not 26take my soul away along with sinners, Nor my life with 27men of bloodshed,10In whose hands is a 28wicked scheme, And whose right hand is full of 29bribes.11But as for me, I will 30walk in my integrity; 31Redeem me, and be gracious to me.1232My foot stands on 33level ground; In the 34congregations I will bless the Lord.
