Psalms 113

The Lord Exalts the Humble.

1 1Praise 2the Lord! 3Praise Him, you 4servants of the Lord, Praise the name of the Lord.2 5Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time on and forever.3 6From 7the rising of the sun to its setting, The 8name of the Lord is to be praised.4The Lord is 9high above all nations; His 10glory is above the heavens.

5 11Who is like the Lord our God, Who 12is enthroned on high,6Who 13looks far down to The heavens and the earth?7He 14raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the garbage heap,8To 15seat them with noblemen, With the noblemen of His people.9He 16has the infertile woman live in the house As a joyful mother of children. 17Praise 18the Lord!
