Psalms 148
The Whole Creation Invoked to Praise the Lord.
11Praise 2the Lord! Praise the Lord 3from the heavens; Praise Him 4in the heights!2Praise Him, 5all His angels; Praise Him, 6all His heavenly armies!3Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light!4Praise Him, 78highest heavens, And the 9waters that are above the heavens!5They are to praise the name of the Lord, For 10He commanded and they were created.6He has also 11established them forever and ever; He has made a 12decree, and it will not pass away.
7Praise the Lord from the earth, 13Sea monsters, and all the ocean 14depths;815Fire and hail, 16snow and 17clouds; 18Stormy wind, 19fulfilling His word;920Mountains and all hills; Fruit 21trees and all cedars;1022Animals and all cattle; 23Crawling things and winged fowl;1124Kings of the earth and all peoples; Rulers and all judges of the earth;12Both young men and virgins; Old men and children.
13They are to praise the name of the Lord, For His 25name alone is exalted; His 26majesty is above earth and heaven.14And He has 27lifted up a horn for His people, 28Praise for all His godly ones, For the sons of Israel, a people 29near to Him. 30Praise 31the Lord!
