Psalms 87
The Privileges of Citizenship in Zion.
A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song.
1His 1foundation is in the holy mountains.2The Lord 2loves the gates of Zion More than all the other dwelling places of Jacob.33Glorious things are spoken of you, 4City of God. Selah4“I shall mention 56Rahab and Babylon 7among those who know Me; Behold, Philistia and 8Tyre with 910Cush: ‘This one was born there.’”5But of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; And the Most High Himself will 11establish her.6The Lord will count when He 12registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” Selah7Then those who 13sing as well as those who 1415play the flutes will say, “All my 16springs of joy are in you.”
