Psalms 123
Prayer for the Lord’s Help.
A Song of Ascents.
1To You I have 1raised my eyes, You who 2are enthroned in the heavens!2Behold, as the eyes of 3servants look to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a female servant to the hand of her mistress, So our 4eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He is gracious to us.
35Be gracious to us, Lord, be gracious to us, For we have had much more than enough of 6contempt.4Our soul has had much more than enough Of the 7scoffing of 8those who are at ease, And with the 9contempt of the proud.
