Psalms 104:6-26

6You 1covered it with the deep sea as with a garment; The waters were standing above the mountains.7They fled from Your 2rebuke, At the 3sound of Your thunder they hurried away.8The mountains rose; the valleys sank down To the 4place which You established for them.9You set a 5boundary so that they will not pass over, So that they will not return to cover the earth.

106He sends forth 7springs in the valleys; They flow between the mountains;11They 8give drink to every animal of the field; The 9wild donkeys quench their thirst.12The birds of the sky 10dwell 11beside them; They 12lift up their voices from among the branches.1313He 14waters the mountains from His upper chambers; 15The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

1416He causes the 17grass to grow for the 18cattle, And 19vegetation for the labor of mankind, So that 20they may produce 21food 22from the earth,15And 23wine, which makes a human heart cheerful, 24So that he makes his face gleam with oil, And 25food, which 26sustains a human heart.16The trees of the Lord 27drink their fill, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,17Where the 28birds build their nests, And the 29stork, whose home is the juniper trees.

18The high mountains are for the 30wild goats; The 31cliffs are a refuge for the 32rock hyrax.19He made the moon 33for the seasons; The 34sun knows the place of its setting.20You 35appoint darkness and it becomes night, In which all the 36animals of the forest 37prowl about.21The 38young lions roar for their prey 39And 40seek their food from God.22When the sun rises they withdraw, And they lie down in their 41dens.23A person goes out to 42his work And to his labor until evening.

24Lord, how 43many are Your works! 44In 45wisdom You have made them all; The 46earth is full of Your 47possessions.2548There is the 49sea, great and 50broad, In which are swarms without number, Animals both small and great.26The 51ships move along there, And 5253Leviathan, which You have formed to have fun in it.
