Psalms 83:1-8

1God, 1do not remain quiet; 2Do not be silent and, God, do not be still.2For behold, Your enemies 3make an uproar, And 4those who hate You have 5 6exalted themselves.3They 7make shrewd plans against Your people, And 8conspire together against 9Your 10treasured ones.4They have said, “Come, and 11let’s wipe them out 12as a nation, So that the 13name of Israel will no longer be remembered.”5For they have 14 15conspired together with one mind; They make a covenant against You:6The tents of 16Edom and the 17Ishmaelites, 18Moab and the 19Hagrites;7 20Gebal, 21Ammon, and 22Amalek, 23Philistia with the inhabitants of 24Tyre;8 25Assyria also has joined them; They have become 26a help to the 27children of Lot.
