Psalms 80:8-16

8You removed a 1vine from Egypt; You 2drove out the 3nations and 4planted it.9You 5cleared the ground before it, And it 6took deep root and filled the land.10The mountains were covered with its shadow, And 7the cedars of God with its 8branches.11It was sending out its branches 9to the sea And its shoots to the Euphrates River.12Why have You 10broken down its 11hedges, So that all who pass that way pick its fruit?13A boar from the forest 12eats it away, And whatever moves in the field feeds on it.

14God of armies, do 13turn back; 14Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,15The 15 16shoot which Your right hand has planted, And of the 17son whom You have 18strengthened for Yourself.16It is 19burned with fire, it is cut down; They perish from the 20rebuke of Your face.
