Psalms 73:17-26

17Until I entered the 1 2sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their 3end.18You indeed put them on 4slippery ground; You dropped them into 5 6ruin.19How they are 7 8destroyed in a moment! They are utterly swept away by 9sudden terrors!20Like a 10dream when one awakes, Lord, when 11stirred, You will 12despise their image.

21When my 13heart was embittered And I was 14pierced 15within,22Then I was 16stupid and ignorant; I was like an 17animal 18before You.23Nevertheless 19I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand.24You will 20guide me with Your plan, And afterward 21receive me 22to glory.

25 23Whom do I have in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth.26My 24flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the 25strength of my heart and my 26portion forever.
