Psalms 69:14-20

14Rescue me from the 1mud and do not let me sink; May I be 2rescued from those who hate me, and from the 3depths of water.15May the 4 5flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the 6pit close its mouth on me.

16Answer me, Lord, for 7Your mercy is good; 8According to the greatness of Your compassion, 9turn to me,17And 10do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am 11in distress; answer me quickly.18Come near to my soul and 12redeem it; 13Ransom me because of my enemies!19You know my 14disgrace, my shame, and my dishonor; All my enemies are 15known to You.

20Disgrace has 16broken my heart, and I am so sick. And 17I waited for sympathy, but there was none; And for 18comforters, but I found none.
