Psalms 44:9-16

9Yet You 1have rejected us and brought us to 2dishonor, And 3do not go out with our armies.10You cause us to 4turn back from the enemy; And those who hate us 5have taken spoils for themselves.11You turn us over 6to be eaten like 7sheep, And have 8scattered us among the nations.12You 9sell Your people 10cheaply, And have not 11profited by their sale.13You make us an object of 12reproach to our neighbors, Of scoffing and 13ridicule to those around us.14You make us 14a proverb among the nations, A 15 16laughingstock among the peoples.15All day long my dishonor is before me And 17I am covered with my 18humiliation,16Because of the voice of one who 19taunts and reviles, Because of the presence of the 20enemy and the avenger.
