Psalms 107:13-20

13Then they 1cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses.14He 2brought them out of darkness and 3the shadow of death And 4broke their bands apart.15 5They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His 6wonders to the sons of mankind!16For He has 7shattered gates of bronze And cut off bars of iron.

17Fools, because of 8their rebellious way, And 9because of their guilty deeds, were afflicted.18Their 10souls loathed all kinds of food, And they 11came close to the 12gates of death.19Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses.20He 13sent His word and 14healed them, And 15saved them from their 16destruction.
