Psalms 107:1-9

1 1Give thanks to the Lord, for 2He is good, For His mercy is everlasting.2 3The redeemed of the Lord shall say so, Those whom He has 4redeemed from the hand of the enemy3And 5gathered from the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the 6south.

4They 7wandered in the wilderness in a 8desert region; They did not find a way to 9an inhabited 10city.5They were hungry 11and thirsty; Their 12souls felt weak within them.6Then they 13cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses.7He also had them walk on a 14 15straight way, To go to 16 17an inhabited city.8 18They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His 19wonders to the sons of mankind!9For He has 20satisfied the 21thirsty soul, And He has filled the 22hungry soul with what is good.
