Context of 1 Chronicles 16:34
32Let the sea roar, and everything it contains; Let the field rejoice, and everything that is in it. 33Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy in the presence of the Lord; For He is coming to judge the earth. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His faithfulness is everlasting. 35Then say, “Save us, God of our salvation, And gather us and save us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise.” 36Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting to everlasting! Then all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 4-42Verses 4-42 This passage is interposed by the writer of Chronicles between two sentences of the parallel passage in Samuel. It contains a detailed account of the service which David instituted at this time, a service out of which grew the more elaborate service of the temple. The language of much of the passage is remarkably archaic, and there can be no reasonable doubt that it is in the main an extract from a record of the time of David. 1 Chronicles…Read the comment
