Psalms 78:37-39
37For their heart was not 1steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful with His covenant.38But He, being 2compassionate, 34forgave their wrongdoing and did not destroy them; And often He 56restrained His anger And did not stir up all His wrath.39So 7He remembered that they were only 8flesh, A 910wind that passes and does not return.
