Psalms 74:3-10

31Step toward the 23irreparable ruins; The enemy 4has damaged everything in the sanctuary.4Your adversaries have 5roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their 6own signs as 7signs.5It 8seems like one bringing up His 9axe into a 10forest of trees.6And now they break down 11all its 12carved work With axe and hammers.7They have 1314burned Your sanctuary 15to the ground; They have 16defiled the dwelling place of Your name.8They 17said in their heart, “Let’s 18completely 19subdue them.” They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.9We do not see our 20signs; There is 21no longer any prophet, Nor is there anyone among us who knows 22how long.10How long, God, will the enemy 23taunt You? Shall the enemy 24treat Your name disrespectfully forever?
