Psalms 69:22-36

22May 1their table before them become a snare; And 2 3when they are at peace, may it become a trap.23May their 4eyes grow dim so that they cannot see, And make their 5hips shake continually.24 6Pour out Your indignation on them, And may Your burning anger overtake them.25May their 7 8camp be desolated; May there be none living in their tents.26For they have 9persecuted him whom 10You Yourself struck, And they tell of the pain of those whom 11You have 12wounded.27Add 13guilt to their guilt, And 14may they not come into 15Your righteousness.28May they be 16wiped out of the 17book of life, And may they not be 18 19recorded with the righteous.

29But I am 20afflicted and in pain; 21May Your salvation, God, 22set me safely on high.30I will 23praise the name of God with song, And 24exalt Him with 25thanksgiving.31And it will 26please the Lord better than an ox Or bull with horns and hoofs.32The 27humble 28have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, 29let your heart 30revive.33For 31the Lord hears the needy, And 32does not despise those of His who are prisoners.

34 33Heaven and earth shall praise Him, The seas and 34everything that moves in them.35For God will 35save Zion and 36build the cities of Judah, So that they may live there and 37possess it.36The 38 39descendants of His servants will inherit it, And those who love His name 40will live in it.
