Psalms 55:17-23

17 1Evening and 2morning and at 3noon, I will complain and moan, And He will hear my voice.18He will 4redeem my soul in peace 5from the battle which is against me, For they are 6many who are aggressive toward me.19God will 7hear and humiliate them-- Even the one 8who 9sits enthroned from ancient times-- Selah With whom there 10is no change, And who 11do not fear God.20He has put forth his hands against 12those who were at peace with him; He has 13 14violated his covenant.21His 15speech was 16smoother than butter, But his heart was war; His words were 17softer than oil, Yet they were drawn 18swords.

22 19Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; 20He will never allow the righteous to 21 22be shaken.23But You, God, will bring them down to the 23pit of destruction; 24Men of bloodshed and deceit will 25not live out half their days. But I will 26trust in You.
