Psalms 38:15-22
15For 1I wait for You, Lord; You 2will answer, Lord my God.16For I said, “May they not rejoice over me, Who, when my foot slips, 3would exalt themselves over me.”17For I am 4ready to fall, And 5my 6sorrow is continually before me.18For I 7admit my guilt; I am full of 8anxiety because of my sin.19But my 9enemies are vigorous and 10strong, And those who wrongfully 11hate me are many.20And those who 12repay evil for good, They 13become my enemies, because I follow what is good.21Do not abandon me, Lord; My God, 14do not be far from me!2215Hurry to help me, Lord, 16my salvation!
