Psalms 27:7-14

7 1Hear, Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and 2answer me.8When You said, “3Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “4I shall seek Your face, Lord.”9 5Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in 6anger; You have been 7my help; 8Do not abandon me nor 9forsake me, God of my salvation!10 10For my father and 11my mother have forsaken me, But 12the Lord will take me up.

11 13Teach me Your way, Lord, And lead me on a 14level path Because of my enemies.12Do not turn me over to the 15 16desire of my enemies, For 17false witnesses have risen against me, And the violent 18witness.13I certainly believed that I would see the 19goodness of the Lord In the 20land of the living.14 21Wait for the Lord; Be 22strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.
