Psalms 106:13-23

13They quickly 1forgot His works; They 2did not wait for His plan,14But 3became lustfully greedy in the wilderness, And 4put God to the test in the desert.15So He 5gave them their request, But 6sent a 7wasting disease among them.

16When they became 8envious of Moses in the camp, And of Aaron, the holy one of the Lord,17The 9earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, And engulfed the 10company of Abiram.18And a 11fire blazed up in their 12company; The flame consumed the wicked.

19They 13made a calf in Horeb, And worshiped a cast metal image.20So they 14exchanged their glory For the image of an ox that eats grass.21They 15forgot God their Savior, Who had done 16great things in Egypt,221718Wonders in the land of Ham, And awesome things by the 19Red Sea.23Therefore 20He said that He would destroy them, If 21Moses, His chosen one, had not stood in the gap before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them.
