Psalms 89:28-37

28I will maintain My 1favor for him forever, And My 2covenant shall be confirmed to him.29So I will establish his 3 4descendants forever, And his 5throne 6as the days of heaven.

30“If his sons 7abandon My Law And do not walk in My judgments,31If they 8violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments,32Then I will punish their wrongdoing with the 9rod, And their guilt with 10afflictions.33But I will not 11withhold 12My favor from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.34I will not 13violate My 14covenant, Nor will I 15alter 16the utterance of My lips.35 17Once I have 18sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.36His 19 20descendants shall endure forever, And his 21throne 22as the sun before Me.37It shall be established forever 23like the moon, And a 24witness in the sky is faithful.” Selah
