Psalms 81:10-16
101I, the Lord, am your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt; 2Open your mouth wide and I will 3fill it.
11“But My people 4did not listen to My voice, And Israel did not 5obey Me.12So I 6gave 7them over to the stubbornness of their heart, To walk by their own plans.13Oh that My people 8would listen to Me, That Israel would 9walk in My ways!14I would quickly 10subdue their enemies And 11turn My hand against their adversaries.1512Those who hate the Lord would 13pretend to obey Him, And their time of punishment would be forever.1614But I would feed you with the 1516finest of the wheat, And with 17honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
