Psalms 79:1-4
1God, the 1nations have 2invaded 3Your inheritance; They have defiled Your 4holy temple; They have 5laid Jerusalem in ruins.2They have given the 6dead bodies of Your servants to the birds of the sky as food, The flesh of Your godly ones to the animals of the earth.3They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem; And there was 7no one to bury them.4We have become a 8disgrace before our neighbors, An object of derision and ridicule to those around us.
