Psalms 78:34-37

34When He killed them, then they 1sought Him, And they returned and searched 2diligently for God;35And they remembered that God was their 3rock, And the Most High God their 4Redeemer.36But they 5flattered Him with their mouth And 6lied to Him with their tongue.37For their heart was not 7steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful with His covenant.
