Psalms 77:1-9

1 1My voice rises to God, and I will 2cry aloud; My voice rises to God, and He will listen to me.2In the 3day of my trouble I sought the Lord; 4In the night my 5hand was stretched out and did not grow weary; My soul 6refused to be comforted.3When I remember God, then I am 7restless; When I 8sigh, then 9my spirit feels weak. Selah4You have held my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I 10cannot speak.5I have considered the 11days of old, The years of long ago.6I will remember my 12song in the night; I 13will meditate with my heart, And my spirit 14ponders:

7Will the Lord 15reject forever? And will He 16never be favorable again?8Has His 17favor ceased forever? Has His 18 19promise come to an end 20forever?9Has God 21forgotten to be gracious, Or has He in anger 22withdrawn His 23compassion? Selah
