Psalms 74:3-8

31Step toward the 23irreparable ruins; The enemy 4has damaged everything in the sanctuary.4Your adversaries have 5roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their 6own signs as 7signs.5It 8seems like one bringing up His 9axe into a 10forest of trees.6And now they break down 11all its 12carved work With axe and hammers.7They have 1314burned Your sanctuary 15to the ground; They have 16defiled the dwelling place of Your name.8They 17said in their heart, “Let’s 18completely 19subdue them.” They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
