Psalms 51:7-14

7 1Purify me 2with hyssop, and I will be clean; 3Cleanse me, and I will be 4whiter than snow.8 5Let me hear 6joy and gladness, Let the 7bones You have broken rejoice.9 8Hide Your face from my sins And wipe out all my guilty deeds.

10 9Create 10in me a 11clean heart, God, And renew a 12steadfast spirit within me.11 13Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your 14Holy Spirit from me.12Restore to me the 15joy of Your salvation, And sustain me with a 16willing spirit.13Then I will 17teach wrongdoers Your ways, And sinners will 18be 19converted to You.

14Save me from 20the guilt of bloodshed, God, 21the God of my salvation; Then my 22tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
