Psalms 51:1-7

1 1 2Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of 3Your compassion, 4wipe out my wrongdoings.2 5Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And 6cleanse me from my sin.3For I 7know my wrongdoings, And my sin is constantly before me.4 8Against You, You only, I have sinned And done what is 9evil in Your sight, So that 10You 11are justified 12when You speak And 13blameless when You judge.

5Behold, I was 14brought forth in guilt, And in sin my mother conceived me.6Behold, You desire 15truth in the 16innermost being, And in secret You will 17make wisdom known to me.7 18Purify me 19with hyssop, and I will be clean; 20Cleanse me, and I will be 21whiter than snow.
