Psalms 41:4-9
4As for me, I said, “Lord, be gracious to me; 1Heal my soul, for 2I have sinned against You.”5My enemies 3speak evil against me, “When will he die, and his name perish?”6And 4when he comes to see me, he 5speaks 6empty words; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; When he goes outside, he tells it.7All who hate me whisper together against me; They 7plot my harm against me, saying,8“A wicked thing is poured out 8upon him, So that when he lies down, he will 9not get up again.”9Even my 1011close friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
