Psalms 37:23-29

23 1The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He 2delights in his way.24When 3he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because 4the Lord is the One 5who holds his hand.25I have been young and now I am old, Yet 6I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or 7his 8descendants begging for bread.26All day long 9he is gracious and lends, And 10his 11descendants are a blessing.

27 12Turn from evil and do good, So that you will dwell 13forever.28For the Lord 14loves 15justice And 16does not abandon His godly ones; They are 17protected forever, But the 18 19descendants of the wicked will be eliminated.29The righteous will 20inherit the land And 21dwell in it forever.
